The BC Government is currently drafting new regulation that will demand sellers give informed consent to their home being assigned to a new buyer, and will financially benefit from any upside of such assignments.
"Once the final sale of the property eventually goes through, any profits accrued from the assignment must return to the original seller," Clark said.
